Equity in Environmental Education

We are a growing team of professional and volunteer educators, activists, environmentalists, and change-makers.  

 3E creates programs and curriculum in partnerships to increase access to quality Environmental Education that is both appealing and effective in raising the environmental literacy of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) while also increasing education on environmental justice.

3E envisions a world with an environmentally literate citizenry who are equally educated on environmental justice.  We will continue to combat disparity in access to quality environmental education for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) until such equity is achieved.   

We envision a world where everyone, regardless of race, color, or income, enjoys 

• the same degree of protection from environmental and health hazards, and
• equal access to the decision-making process to have a healthy environment in which to live, learn, and work.

The organization’s mission is to reduce and eliminate disparity in access to quality Environmental Education for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and to increase education on environmental justice.  

We will work to accomplish this mission by creating and developing programs and curriculum that target the BIPOC audience and increases participation of BIPOC students.  We will also work to increase  education on environmental justice.
